What is Orkely?
Orkely is a self-hosted business management application. It gives your team a single workspace to manage clients, projects, tasks, finances, invoices, and files — all running on your own server. Pricing starts from $79 and can be expanded with setup help if needed.
Do I need technical knowledge to install it?
You need to be comfortable with basic hosting tasks: uploading files via FTP, creating a MySQL database, and pointing a domain to a directory. If you've installed WordPress before, Orkely is a very similar process. We provide a step-by-step installer that handles the rest.
What are the server requirements?
Orkely requires PHP 8.1 or higher, MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+, and the ability to set a document root. Most shared hosting providers (cPanel, Plesk, etc.) support this out of the box. You do not need a VPS, though it works on one too.
Can I use it for multiple projects?
Yes — there is no limit on the number of projects, clients, tasks, or invoices you can create. Once installed, you can use Orkely for as many projects as you need.
How many users can I add?
Unlimited. There are no per-seat fees. You can add as many team members as you need. Each user can have a different role with specific permissions.
Do I get updates?
Yes. Every purchase includes free updates for 12 months. Updates include bug fixes, security patches, and new feature releases made during that period. After 12 months, you keep the version you have — it continues to work indefinitely.
What happens after the update period ends?
Nothing changes in how Orkely works for you. Your installation keeps running. You simply won't receive new feature updates. You can optionally renew at a discounted rate to keep receiving updates.
Can I modify the source code?
Yes, for personal and internal business use. The full source code is included with your license. You may customize it to fit your needs. You may not resell, redistribute, or sub-license the code to others — see our terms for the full license terms.
Is my data private?
Completely. Because Orkely is self-hosted, your data never leaves your server. We have no access to your database, your files, or your business information. We don't even know who your clients are.
Can I try the product before buying?

What kind of support do I get?
Every license includes email support. We assist with installation issues, bug reports, and general usage questions. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. We cannot support heavy customizations, but we're happy to point you in the right direction.
Can I use it for client projects — as an agency?
You can use Orkely to manage your own agency's work internally. Each license covers one installation. If you want to host a separate Orkely instance for each of your clients, you'll need a license per installation. Contact us about agency or bulk pricing.
